Kosovo’s NT won its first game in the European Championship U20, Division B, in Hungary. Kosovo defeated Georgia 77:65, in what can be called as our teams’ best spectacle since their arrival in Hungary.
The first quarter ended 20:15, they were leading by 8 points but at the last second of this quarter Georgia scored a three pointer.
The first half of the game ended 45:29.
In the second half of the game, Kosovo’s victory was never jeopardized, although the lead fell to 8 points, due to a safe game and the scores of Samir Zekiqi and Arian Memeti during the crucial moments, Kosovo controlled the game and won by 12 points.
Samir Zekiqi and Arian Memeti were the most efficient players with 25 points each and Ujkan Karanezi who added 17 points.
