Heads of Kosovo Basketball Federation and Coaches Association of Kosovo Basketball Federation have agreed on the dynamics of the licensing of coaches.
This was the key point of the meeting held between President of the KBF, Mr. Erolld Belegu, Secretary General, Mr. Leart Hoxha and a delegation of Coaches Association composed of: Ibrahim Karabeg - Vice President, Albert Sylejmani - board member and Fikret Shatri – secretary.
Parties have agreed that KBF and the Coaches Association of KBF should organize at least 3 seminars - clinics for coaches of all categories and the participation in this clinic must be mandatory and basic precondition for getting a coaching license.
Final decision regarding the seminar dynamic and licensing process must be approved also by the board of Coaches Association of KBF.
The parties have also agreed to review the Coaching License Regulation and to make changes if necessary and strictly implement it from the season 2015/16.
In the meeting, it was concluded that national licensing and quality verification of the foreign coaches working in Kosovo is necessary and will directly affect the growth of the quality of work being done with Kosovo basketball players.
