Third final game of the ETC Super League play-offs, between Sigal Prishtina and Peja, will take place tonight, at the Youth Center, in Prishtina, at 20:00hrs.

In the first final game, which took place in Prishtina, Sigal Prishtina has defeated Peja 92:73. In the second game Peja won 80:72, in Karagac. Now, the result is 1:1 and everything starts from zero for both teams.

Finals system for this season is 1-1-1-1-1, where the advantage of the home terrain goes to Prishtina who holds the first place on board for the regular season. The winner of the title will be the team that wins 3 out of 5 possible games.

Dardan Berisha, basketball player of BC Sigal Prishtina: “In the first game, we weren’t as prepared mentally as we should’ve been and that affected our game, we made mistakes which our opponent didn’t forgive. We knew that the game in Peja will be a difficult one, so we shouldn’t have made as many mistakes as we did, especially in the first half. However, that game is over and we managed to recuperate from that loss, we analyzed our game and the game of our rival in details and now we are ready for the third duel. We will fully commit to play in the best possible way, in defense and offense, like we did in the first game and if we do that, then I believe that we will win. We must triumph, because that way we will win the advantage of the home terrain and that is what we fought for the entire season”.

Boris Kurtovic, head coach of BC Peja: “Our goal is to take one game at a time. I’m not a good predictor and I don’t like talking about the result from the upcoming game in Prishtina. I will ask from the players to give their best, as they did in the previous game. I don’t want to talk about whether we are going to win the title or not. This is sport and if we didn’t think about winning, we wouldn’t play at all. If we win the third game in Prishtina, that would be a big step for us, but we will have to wait and see”.
