Bashkimi from Prizren concluded their debut season in the Balkan League with a loss. On Tuesday night, Beroe defeated Bashkimi, in Prizren before their own fans, 70:88 (17:25, 20:20, 16:26, 17:17).
The guests had a good start and that is best proven by the fact that they ended the first quarter with 8 point lead (25:17). In the second quarter the teams were even (20:20), and after the break the Bulgarian team played better and won the game by 18 points.
Ashton Moore was the top scorer for the winners with 22 points while Auston Barnes had 15 points and 5 rebounds. For the home side Theron Bussey had 21 points as Rokas Uzas added 14, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
It should be noted that Beroe was qualified for the semifinals, together with Mornar from Montenegro, after they defeated Teodo 93:67 (17:18, 19:12, 40:19, 17:18).
Mornar holds the first place in Group C, while Beroe holds the second one.
