KB Bashkimi recorded its first win in group C of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team from Prizren visited KK Teodo and played very good game to take 82-76 victory.
It stopped Teodo′s run of three straight wins as it was the team′s first loss of the Second Stage. For Bashkimi however it was the first win and it keeps the team′s chances of going to the semifinals alive.Next week Teodo will visit Beroe while Bashkimi will host Mornar in another two very important games.
In the absence of Marcel Jones, all Bashkimi′s players stepped up and it paid off. Tay Waller was the top scorer with 19 points while adding also 5 rebounds. Theron Bussey also played well with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals while Rokas Uzas added 17 points and 9 rebounds.
Manuel Johnson had a double-double for the hosts with 23 points and 11 rebounds as Nikola Vucurovic scored 15 points.
