BC Bashkimi from Prizren will play againt Teodo, on Saturday, in Montenegro, in round two of the Balkan League. The game will start at 18:00h.
Bashkimi started right their debut season in the Balkan League, after defeating Peja 82:73 in the first round, whereas Teodo has defeated Lovcen 78:55.
A great rivalry between Bashkimi and Teodo is expected to take place tomorrow.
Bashkimi is part of Group B in the Balkan League, amongst Peja, Teodo, Lovcen and Levski 2014.
Petar Mijoviç, Head Coach of BC Bashkimit: ”We are ready for Teodo, even though we have some problems with injuries, I still believe that we will play good. Teodo is a very qualitative team, who’s been playing for a long time in the Balkan League, which means that they have a great experience in the international arena. Imer Tahiri won’t be playing, and is still unclear whether Efthymios Tsakaleris will be able to play. However, we have our game system and our ideas, which we will try to implement in Tivat. I expect a difficult game, like they all are in the Balkan League.”
Granit Rugova, basketball player of BC Bashkimi: “I have prepared for this game and we have travelled to Montenegro to play good defense as well as offense, because that’s the only way to return with a full point. We have analyzed their game and the coach gave each one of us a task and if we manage to deliver I am sure that we will win. I am very optimistic about our second win in the Balkan League”.
It should be noted that during this week the reigning champion of the Balkan League, Sigal Prishtina will also play in the second round of the BIBL, on Wednesday, at the Youth and Sports Center, in Prishtina starting from 19:00h, against Kozuv from Macedonia while Peja will play the second round game on October 28, against Teodo.
