The first game of the Balkan League for 2016 will be played on Tuesday. Bashkimi will host Lovcen at the “Sezai Surroi” hall, in Prizren, at 19:00h. Last year in November, Bashkimi has defeated Lovcen 75:66, in Montenegro. The other teams from Kosovo will play on Wednesday. Peja will play against Levski 2014, in Sofia, Bulgaria, whilst Sigal Prishtina is travelling to Montenegro to play against Mornar.
One of the best players of BC Bashkimi, Granit Rugova, is very optimistic about this game:
Granit Rugova: “We are prepared for the game. We have no information regarding the changes that Lovcen has made in its roster and game technique, but we will try our best to win this game. We have the advantage of playing in our court but we still have to be maximally focused in the game. I believe that we will defeat Lovcen and make our fans really happy. Every victory is very important to us, especially in the Balkan League. This victory would be a positive start of 2016.”
