Bashkimi secured their place in the second stage of the Balkan League. On Tuesday night, the team from Prizren defeated Lovcen 95:61 and finished group B with 5 wins and 3 losses.
Lovcen played better in the first quarter and even had 7-point lead at one moment. The hosts still responded well and managed to cut the deficit to only 1 after ten minutes. In the second quarter things changed, the hosts scored 32 points in that period and played great defense. This meant that at the break they had 29-point advantage and in the second half the hosts controlled the lead and had no trouble and finally won the game by 34 points.
Marcel Jones had another big game for Bashkimi finishing with 32 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Granit Rugova finished with 20 points while Theron Bussey added 18 and 6 assists. The visitors were led by Ratko Petric and Mikaile Tmusic who both had 11 points while Aleksandar Milic added 10 and 8 rebounds.
