Sigal Prishtina’s best player, Dardan Berisha said that his team will travel to Tivar to win the game and win this championship for the second consecutive time.
On Tuesday night, in a fantastic atmosphere before its own fans, Prishtina has defeated Mornar 82:68, whereas the second final game will take place on Wednesday (April 20th) in Tivar, at 20:00h.
After the first game, Mornar said that they will not give up and try their best to turn the tables, like they did in the semifinal game against Kozuv. But, the reality is that these two teams differ greatly in quality and Prishtina has quality basketball players such as Dardan, who at crucial moments can do what’s best for his team.
Prishtina’s number 11 is convinced that if his team has the main goal to win the game and not only defend the result from the first game; they will leave the gym with a trophy.
“I believe that we did a great job in the first game. We have won a very important game before our fans in a fantastic atmosphere. But now everything begins from zero, because this is only the first part of the finals and the second one awaits us next week in Tivar” said Berisha.
He continued talking about the preparations of his team for the second game.
“We will continue working even harder, because now we are closer to our goal and we have to give our best to win the trophy for the second consecutive time in the Balkan League. It won’t be easy, because Mornar is not a team that gives up. They defeated us once and we defeated them twice but now we have to be really careful. I am very optimistic that if we play good defense and offense we will return with a trophy. In the first game the pressure was in our side and now it will be in theirs. However, we will play our game and will do our best to defend the title,” added Berisha.
