Round XIII of the ETC Super League was concluded with the two games of the Sunday night. In this round’s derby, Kosova e Re Bashkimi has defeated Trepca in Drenas, securing the third place on the board. After Trepca’s better start, Kosova e Re Bashkimi played excellent in the second quarter and finished the first half with 10 points lead (39:29).
The team from Prizren entered the 2 final minutes of the game with a similar lead but couldn’t keep that lead and Trepca had a chance to win in the final action.
However, the guests were more careful in free throws and won 72:68.
Besa defeated Kastrioti in the duel of the two teams with the last place on board, showing difference in quality with the team with only one win out of 13 games.
Besa ended the first half of the game with only 3 point lead but due to a series of 9: 0 in the third quarter, broke the result and never looked back, scoring a comfortable victory and enabling a quiet end of the game. The final result of the game is 105:95.
As expected, in the other two games Sigal Prishtina defeated Golden Eagle Ylli 109:88, whereas Peja defeated Vellaznimi 111:69.
