Kosovo National Team lost its third consecutive game in Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers. On Wednesday night, Bulgaria defeated Kosovo 105:84 (22:25, 18:15, 32:16, 33:28), in Botevgrad.
Kosovo played better in the first half and this is best proven by the result of the first quarter 25:22. In the second quarter the hosts started off better but in the end of this quarter Kosovo gets back in the game and the first half ended 40:40.
Just when Kosovo was expected to play even better, the complete opposite happened. Bulgaria took control of the game and the third quarter ended 32:16, which was the breaking point for our National Team and they weren’t able to recover in the fourth quarter either where they lost by 21 points.
The most efficient player from the Kosovo National Team was Justin Doellman with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. For Bulgarian NT the most efficient player was Aleksandar Vezenkov.
Kosovo was defeated by Slovenia 113:68 in the game that took place in Ljubljana and afterwards they lost to Ukraine 70:63 in Mitrovica.
The upcoming game Kosovo – Slovenia, in Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers, will take place at the “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica.
