BC Bashkimi had a perfect debut in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. Playing in front of their own fans in Prizren, the hosts defeated KB Peja 82-73 and started the season in the best possible way. Both teams played an interesting match and had their good moments but the hosts clicked at the right time and won the game.
The two Americans - Theron Bussey and Tay Waller were the top performers for the winning team. Bussey was very close to a triple-double as he finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists as Waller had 19 points as well. Granit Rugova also had a very good outing scoring 17 points off the bench.
For Peja, Ronald Davis finished with 24 points as Drilon Hajrizi added 18.
