Whenever Sigal Prishtina and Peja play, the adrenaline goes to the maximum. This time they will play in Group D of the Balkan League.
Sigal Prishtina are on a roll and have won their first two games in the second stage and with an eventual win they’ll be one step closer to the semifinals, whereas Peja seeks victory for hope. Peja has 1 loss and 1 win in the second stage.
The game will take place on Wednesday, at 19:00h, at the Youth and Sports Center, in Prishtina, only 10 days after Sigal Prishtina defeated Peja in the finals of IPKO Cup.
Antonis Constantinides, head coach of Sigal Prishtina: “This is a very difficult game against a very strong team such as Peja and also, a very different game to the one in the IPKO Cup finals. We have to play way better if we want to win. This game is very important to us because if we win we will go through to the semifinals. We can’t let such an opportunity get away. I hope that the gym will be filled with our fans because we need their support.”
Alban Veseli, basketball player from BC Peja: “We will try our best to win in order to continue competing in the Balkan League. I believe that it will be really hard, since Prishtina is highly motivated after their victory in IPKO Cup finals. Both teams are equal. I believe that a spectacle is about to take place in the capital city.”
