Two officials from FIBA Europe, Radmila Turner Head of NF´s & Sport/Youth & Anti-Doping Europe and Lena Lisiecki Events Coordinator in FIBA Europe, will visit Kosovo from 17 until 19 September.
During their visit, Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Lisiecki will watch the sixth game of Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers between Kosovo and Bulgaria that will take place on Saturday at 20:00h, at the “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica. Turner and Lisiecki are also interested in the organizing level of the game organized by the Kosovo Basketball Federation and its partners.
Also during their stay in Kosovo, the two officials from FIBA Europe will meet with the President of KBF, Erolld Belegu and Secretary General, Leart Hoxha to discuss the experiences gained by our Federation during our historical debut in Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers, and also the appearance of our Youth National Teams in the European Championships (both competitions).
Meanwhile on Sunday (September 18) Turner and Lisiecki will organize a Workshop on preparing, hosting and promoting big events such as European Championships of youth categories, Eurobasket Qualifiers, World Cup etc.
