After Sigal Prishtina’s loss, Bashkimi also started their new season 2016/17 in Sigal Uniqa Balkan League with a loss.
On Wednesday night, Bashkimi lost to Kozuv 80:63 in Gevgelija, Macedonia.
The team from Macedonia dominated the game from the beginning until the end and it wasn’t hard for them to win.
Top scorer for the winners was Nikola Djurasovicwho finished with 24 points while also adding 6 rebounds. Robert Abramovic also had a good game with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists whileKenyon McNeail had 11 points. Marko Popovic finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the visiting team as Kejuan Johnson scored 12 points.
