NT of Kosovo, U20 was defeated by Montenegro, in the second game of the European Championship, Group B, Division B, in Hungary.
Montenegro, the favorite of the group and one of the teams that demands a return to Division A, imposed its authority from the beginning of the game and created a great lead by ending the first quarter 27: 9.
An additional problem for Kosovo was the fact that Samir Zekiqi in less than 9 minutes committed four personal fouls, whereas Arian Memeti committed three during the first half of the game.
The NT of Kosovo played significantly better in the second half of the game but that wasn’t enough to decrease the lead which Montenegro had created.
The game ended with the result 55:94.
In what was expected to be the most difficult game of the Championship, where our team gave a poor performance, especially in defense, Leonard Mekaj with 15 points was the only player to score two digit points for Kosovo.
