On the first visit day in Switzerland, members of KFB delegation held two important meetings in FIBA headquarters. Board member of KBF, Mr. Arben Fetahu met with the Governance & Legal Affairs Senior Manager, Mr. Benjamin Cohen where they discussed on the compatibility of KBF normative acts with those of FIBA, also the content of KBF application for FIBA membership, which has already been prepared by the KBF team.
During the meeting it was concluded that KBF normative acts are compatible with those of FIBA and the membership application form contains everything that is required for review by the legal office. At the other meeting held that day, Secretary General, Mr. Leart Hoxha met with Mr. Javier Deshayes Lopez, Sport & Development Assistant.
According to Mr. Deshayes, KBF has recently been very accurate regarding the implementation of rules and procedures on players’ transfers. Secretary General of KBF, Mr. Leart Hoxha repeated the commitment of KBF to continue to respect the procedures and rules of FIBA, qualified as important precondition for Kosovo's membership in FIBA.
Tomorrow (05.02.2015), at 14:00h, KBF delegation, led by President of KBF, Mr. Erolld Belegu will meet with FIBA Secretary General, Mr. Patrick Baumann and other senior officials of FIBA, at FIBA headquarters.
