Under Article 21, paragraph 1, of the Statute of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, the Board of KBF decided to open the bidding procedure for the organisation of the Final Tournament of Kosovo Cup, for the season 2016/2017, to take place on 17-19 February 2017.
All legal entities that meet the conditions of this bid and the provisions set forth in the Guide for Organisation of the Final Tournament of the Kosovo Cup have the right to apply.
In order to bid for the organisation of the Final Tournament of Kosovo Cup, candidates must meet the following requirements:
a) The candidate should not have outstanding obligations towards KBF
b) Provide conditions for the development of games according to FIBA game rules and Competition Propositions of KBF
c) To provide medals, cups and trophies to the winners and finalists of the Cup in both competitions, with the design selected by the KBF
d) to cover expenses for officials of every game of the Final Tournament of Kosovo Cup
e) to secure live broadcast for all games of the Final Tournament of Kosovo Cup in a national television or cable platform, as well as prepare 2 (two) DVDs for every game.
f) to adhere strictly to the provisions of the Guide for Organisation of the Final Tournament of the Kosovo Cup in terms of marketing in the gym and television broadcast
g) to secure a sufficient number of tickets for fans of all teams participating in the tournament
h) to secure adequate presence of police forces and members of private security in the final games of the tournament
i) to comply with other provisions of the Guide for Organisation of the Final Tournament of the Kosovo Cup
j) to pay a certain amount in the bank account of KBF for the development of youth categories
k) to secure a conference room for the Assembly of KBF
The selected candidate will sign a contract with KBF which will specify the details of the organisation of the Cup and the obligations and rights of both parties.
In the event that two or more applicants meet the criteria, the financial criterion is prevalent.
The bid is open until 27/01/2016, at 12:00h.
