Three referees for youth categories, from Kosovo, got accepted in the FECC programme (FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate), which will last for 2 years and they will have the chance to get a certificate afterwards. The news came from Leart Hoxha, Secretary General of KBF: FIBA Europe has confirmed the acceptance of Kosovo coaches. Kosovo is the only country that has 3 coaches in the 2015-2017 cycle. KBF is very grateful for FIBA Europe’s continued support, and we wish big success to our coaches.Given the fact that youth categories will continue to be our main focus, especially now that we are members of FIBA and we intensified work with the National Team, this news came as a positive sign for Kosovo basketball in general" stated Hoxha, after participating at the 11th Meeting of Secretaries General of FIBA Europe, on Monday (April 20th), in Munich.
It must be stressed that our coaches who will attend FECC's program will have the opportunity to attend lectures during the European Championships U-16, U-18 and U-20, but will also have other duties in their clubs.
