  • Sigal Prishtina’s second win in FIBA Europe Cup
18 November 2015

On Tuesday night, Sigal Prishtina has defeated Energia Targu Jiu 66:62, in the round 4 of Group K of the FIBA Europe Cup, at the Youth and Sports Center, in Prishtina. This is Sigal Prishtina’s second victory in FIBA Europe Cup.

Mohamed Abukar was the only Prishtina player to score in double figures with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting while Khalid El-Amin added 9 points. For the Romanian team, Callistus Eziukwu scored 15 points, Lamont Mack 13 and Porter Troupe 12 points.

"I said from the beginning when I moved to Prishtina that we have an advantage in the home games, because the atmosphere here is crazy. I always say that if we concede less than 70 points we will win every match, and today we conceded only 62. Basketball is about defence. We now need to win at least one match to qualify, and we believe in our team." - Sigal Prishtina forward Yll Kacaniku.

On November 25th  Astana will host Sigal Prishtina, in Kazakhstan. In the first game between the two teams Sigal Prishtina had defeated Astana.
