Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) has made all the necessary preparations to participate in the international tournament, to be held from 13 until 15 January in Skopje.
Kosovo will participate in the tournament with the U14 group-age, and the team will be led by coaches Izet Tahiri and Besnik Podvorica.
The tournament is part of the Youth Development Project of FIBA Europe, led by the Turkish Basketball Federation, and implemented by Romania, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Previously, within the framework of this project were held selection camps in Kosovo and in other above-mentioned countries, followed by the camp in Mangalia, Romania in August 2016 with the participation of all four countries, while in November was organized a study visits for 16 coaches in Istanbul, Turkey, and now will be held the international tournament in Skopje, where in addition to the host and Kosovo, will also participate Romania and Bulgaria.
