Today, Leart Hoxha announced his resignation as the Secretary General of the Kosovo Basketball Federation due to personal obligations.
The Board of KBF is very grateful about Hoxha’s commitment during these two years and wishes him further success in his career.
During his time as Secretary General, KBF became member of FIBA, and under his leadership the federation has experienced major developments: increasing the number of leagues and teams of youth generations, the participation of youth National Teams in European Championships in various divisions and the debut of the National Team A in Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers.
The President of KBF, Erolld Belegu has offered Hoxha the position of board member, which he is expected to accept, and he will remain member of the Executive Committee of KBF.
Meanwhile, the vacancy for the position of Secretary General of KBF will be open on Thursday.
