Bashkimi recorded third loss in a row in Group C of the Balkan League, after being defeated by Beroe 90:80, in Bulgaria, on Tuesday night.
In the final minutes of the game, the Bulgarians were way better than Bashkimi and that helped them win the game. They have 1 loss and still have to fight for a place in the semifinals.
On the other hand, after their third loss in a row, Bashkimi have to win every single game to get through to the semifinals.
Next week, Beroe will host Mornar, whereas Teodo will host Bashkimi.
Aleksandar Todorovic had double-double for the win with 18 points and 10 rebounds while two others scored 15 points apiece - Ashton Moore and Tencho Tenchev. Bashkimi’s best players were Marcel Jones and Tay Waller who had 24 points each while Theron Bussey scored 21. The rest of the squad scored a total of 11 points which cost them at the end.
