BC Sigal Prishtina won the first Final of EUROHOLD Balkan League by 2 points at home against BC Rilski Sportist. Here are some quotes from the home side after the end of the game:
Marjan Ilievski, head coach of BC Sigal Prishtina: "I already said before the game that it is not the same like in the group phase - this is a final and it′s a huge difference. Their defence was strong, but we missed many easy baskets. I asked my players to play with three big guys when we took the lead, but because of euphoria they started playing individually and that′s why we don′t have a big lead. We tried to overcome the result with three pointers, but we were unlucky. We believe that if we don′t repeat these mistakes, we will make it in Bulgaria."
Edmond Azemi, Captain of BC Sigal Prishtina: "We started the game poorly, as they played aggressive defence and were efficient. They also stopped our counterattack.
We won with two points difference and we go there to win as well. We are a bit dissapointed as we expected a bigger win, but we go there to win this cup."
