Former basketball player of the golden age, Shemsie Stublla who played for BC Universiteti, made a visit to KBF, on Thursday. Stublla was received by the Secretary General of KBF, Leart Hoxha, who informed her on the latest developments of the basketball of Kosovo. The former basketball player of the most successful women’s team of all times congratulated Mr. Hoxha for KBF’s affiliation to FIBA and wished a successful future to the basketball of Kosovo.
The purpose of this meeting was the arrangement of a friendly game between veterans from Slovenia and former basketball players of BC Universiteti.
Hoxha said that KBF is ready to contribute to such an event, the message of which will be the practice of sport, in this case basketball by many women in Kosovo.
Shemsije Stublla has played for BC Universiteti until 1989 and after that has transferred to Maribor. She was an active player until 2000 and now lives and works in Slovenia.
