The U14 Youth Camp for boys and girls organized by the Kosovo Basketball Federation and with the support of FIBA and FIBA Europe, MCYS and Raiffeisen Bank, has ended.
The camp began of August 1st and ended on August 5th, and took place at the Student Center in Prishtina, whilst the practices were taking place at the “1 Tetori” hall and at the gym of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
About 60 kids from throughout Kosovo have participated in the camp.
The camp was led by the coordinator of youth categories in KBF, American coach, Chris Dial, with the assist of 10 local coaches.
In this camp, 30 basketball players and 6 coaches will be chosen to travel to Bucharest, Romania to participate in the camp that will take place there from August 28th until September 2nd.
It should be noted that this year too, FIBA and FIBA have supported KBF and its work with youth categories, including it in an even bigger camp program, this time with the U14 group-ages. The camp will be led by the Turkish Basketball Federation, and its partners will be Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria.
