Last weekend, at the gym of “Sami Frasheri” high school, in Prishtina, took place the selection camp for U14 basketball players (born on 2002). The camp was organized by the Kosovo Basketball Federation.
Kids from every city of Kosovo have participated in the camp, and 60 were selected to participate in the camp that will be organized by KBF, FIBA, MCYS and Raiffeisen Bank, as KBF’s partner.
The camp will take place from 1 until 5 August, at the Students Center in Prishtina. The practices will take place at the “1 Tetori” hall and at the gym of the Faculty of Sport Sciences.
60 kids will attend the camp, 48 boys and 12 girls born on 2002.
The camp will be led by the coordinator of youth categories in KBF, the American coach, Chris Dial, with the assist of 12 local coaches.
30 basketball players and 6 coaches will be selected in this camp, which will travel to Bucharest, Romania to participate in the camp that will take place from August 228th until September 2nd.
It should be noted that this year, FIBA and FIBA Europe have supported KBF in its work with youth categories, by including us in an even bigger camp program, this time with the U14 group-ages (men). The camp will be led by the Basketball Federation of Turkey, and its partners are Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria.
