Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) has continued its cooperation with the Independent Organization of Sport Education in Kosovo (OESK) in order to increase the interest of young boys and girls in sport, in this case basketball.
The assistance provided this time to KBF by OESK was to support the basketball club from Ferizaj Kastrioti – Women, for the Project “The expansion and development of sports among young people in Kosovo”.
Board of OESK chose BC Kastrioti - Women to support this year considering the hard work that this club has done with the girls and minorities. Besides BC Kastrioti - Women, in the framework of this project OESK has also helped four other clubs of different sports.
The project will last six months (01.06.2015 – 01.12. 2015) and there will be character monitoring, BC Kastrioti -Women is supported with an amount of 1,500.00 euro, which will be given to this team in two parts.
With this amount BC Kastrioti - Women will have an obligation to invest in the development of the club, through the purchase of sports equipment (placing the logo of OESK), to organize tournaments, or other competitions, and also must organize one seminar with the topic on 'Fair Play', which will be open to other clubs, where OESK educators that are specialized in this field will lecture.
On this occasion, it was signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between OESK and BC Kastrioti - Women, with obligations details of all the parties involved in the process. The Memorandum was signed by the head of OESK Board Elvira Dushku and representative of BC Kastrioti- Women, Kimete Haliti.
It should be emphasized that Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) is a member of the Independent Organization of Sport Education in Kosovo since the establishment of OESK (2011) and since then the cooperation of these institutions has deepened.
