On Saturday (19.07.2014), at the Faculty of Sport Sciences in Prishtina, was held a coaching clinic led by FIBA Instructor, Mr. Dejan Mihevc. The selected topics for the clinic were: Methodology of teaching technical elements, from ball handling drills to situational reaction drills presented on crossover change and Projects for Youth run by Basketball Federation of Slovenia.
A considerable number of coaches (around 25) from different clubs from Kosovo were present at the clinic and all of the coaches were very pleased with Mr. Mihevc’s lecture which lasted for three hours.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Mihevc has stayed in our country for 9 days and he was sent from FIBA as an instructor to lead the Youth Summer Camp “Prishtina 2014”, and with the request of officials of Kosovo Basketball Federation he accepted to hold a coaching clinic.
