Kosovo Basketball Federation has organized a clinic for referees and referee observers, which was led by the referee of Euroleague, Mr. Damir Javor from Slovenia.
60 referees participated in the clinic where the main focus was on the principles of three-person officiating, pre game conference and the criteria in specific situations during the game.
In addition to the clinic which was evaluated as very successful by the Referee’s Association of KBF, Referee’s Association also held a re-test for the referee’s that did not pass or did not attend the physical and theoretical test which was held before the beginning of the season.
Albert Caka is the only referee that has passed the test and Referee’s Association is expected to recommend to the Board of KBF, the inclusion of the judge in the list of judges for the remainder of the season.
KBF has officially thanked FIBA officials for sending Damir Weekly in Kosovo and for the excellent cooperation with KBF in the process of organizing seminars for referees.
