President of Kosovo Basketball Federation, Mr. Erolld Belegu and Secretary General, Mr. Leart Hoxha, met with the representatives of the Clubs from Basketball’s First League of Kosovo.
Representatives of most of the clubs in this league participated in this meeting, where they discussed the current situation and also the preparations for the new season.
As it is known, this year, KBF will bear all of the expenses for the officials of the First League, where a record number will compete.
In this meeting, First League’s officials vowed that by September 10th at 16:00, they will fulfill all of their obligations towards KBF and will refrain to the normative acts.
Once the obligations are fulfilled and the clubs get their license, the Board of KBF in consultation with the clubs will decide on how to separate the teams of the First League into group I and II.
As it is already known, according to the competition system for the season 2014/15, First League will be divided into two groups (I and II). After the fall season, the three first teams from these two groups will compete in the First League A for a place in the ETC Super League, while other teams will be competing in the First League B and the teams who are left in the last place will be ranked in the Second League, which will begin next season.
