8 February 2017

On Wednesday, Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) has distributed Molten balls, size 5 (mini-basket balls) to the clubs of U12 League. The balls are a donation from FIBA to KBF.

The U12 clubs to benefit from this donation are: Vushtrria Basket, Kerasan Prishtina, Alba Basket, Rahoveci, M Junior Prishtina, Peja DT, Vellaznimi, Kalaja, New Basket and Istogu.

Team representatives are very thankful for this donation from FIBA.

Arianit Morina, coach of BC Vushtrria Basket:

"I am very grateful for this support from FIBA and KBF, which seems symbolic, but it means a lot to us, because the balls are for children who are taking their first basketball steps. We as a club of Vushtrri have many children of this generation, who will be even more motivated to play basketball after they see these balls. "

Dak Turku, coach of BC Peja DT:

"This donation from FIBA and KBF is very welcomed for the club and for the children of Peja. We are very happy that we have been given the opportunity to benefit from this donation and now have the opportunity to develop more practices. I would like to thank FIBA and KBF for their continued support for youth categories. "

It should be noted that in addition to the clubs of the U12 League, KBF plans to donate mini-basket balls also to primary schools in several municipalities of Kosovo in order to entice more boys and girls to practice basketball.
