Kosovo Basketball Federation is cautiously monitoring the situation which was created after a few threatening messages were posted in a social media, which initially attacked several members of BC Sigal Prishtina.
KBF wishes to clarify that it strongly condemns any political agenda of certain individuals or groups and wants to repeat that as an organization is non-political in its activities and expects the same approach from our members, respectively basketball clubs and associations.
KBF requests from BC Peja and BC Sigal Prishtina to organize the final games of the Play-Offs in the best possible way, appealing to fans to act in the correct way and requires from law enforcement and security agencies, with which we are in continuous contacts, to carefully approach this game and make sure that it goes in its normal flow.
KBF will fully comply with Competition Propositions and other Normative Acts, during the game KBF officials will take all necessary measures within their competence and authority to ensure sports environment for the development of the second game and other games of the finale series.
KBF expects that this year's Play-Off finals constitute one of the biggest sports events in Kosovo and wishes success to both finalist teams and expects from fans to support and appreciate the efforts of the basketball players and leaders of the clubs.
