On Thursday, Kosovo U18 National Team (men) was defeated by Azerbaijan 66:77, in the semifinals of the European Championship U18, Division C, which is taking place in San Marino.
Kosovo’s opponent was dominating from the beginning of the game and was superior to our National Team, and deserved to go through to the finals, where it will play against the winner of the Andorra - San Marino duel. On Friday, the loser of the duel will fight with Kosovo for the third place.
It should be noted that this loss was a big surprise to our National Team, since we were superior to every other team. However, our boys gave a very good impression in the European Championship, and are expected to win the bronze medal on Friday.
