The National Team of Kosovo has lost to Estonia 74:64 (15:22, 11:12, 22:16, 26:14) in a friendly game that took place on Saturday, in Tallinn.
The game was a tie until the end of the third quarter; however in the fourth quarter the hosts were dictating with the rhythm of the game and managed to win the game.
Kosovo played better in the first and second quarter, where our basketball players showed a really good game led by the unstoppable trio, Justin Doellman (17), Dardan Berisha (13), Jaren Sina (15). Also, in the first 20 minutes of the game our basketball players played very good defense, not allowing the opponent to score more than 26 points, whereas we scored 34.
In the third quarter Estonia played better offense and also defense. The hosts continued with the same tempo until the end and won the game.
It should be noted that the selector of Kosovo, Arben Krasniqi in this game has allowed almost all basketball players to appear on the floor in order to see more clearly their form, considering the fact that he has 14 players and until a week before the beginning of the qualifiers he must decide on the final 12.
The previous day, Estonia – Kosovo also played a closed game, where Estonia won 76:67.
Our National Team will return to Kosovo on Sunday, while from 11 until the 17 August they will stay in Como, Italy where they will play 5 friendly games with the colleges of the United States.
