Today at 18:00h, the National Team of Kosovo will play against Ukraine in the fifth game of EuroBasket 2017 Qualifiers, on a neutral terrain in Vilnius, Lithuania. EuroBasket 2017 will take place in Romania, Finland, Israel and Turkey.
In their first game that took place 10 days ago, at “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica, Ukraine won 70:63. Kosovo played good until the last five minutes of the game but Ukraine with their experience and great defense managed to win the game.
However, this time our team has traveled to Lithuania to show a better game and will do their best to get a positive result.
On the other hand, this game is very important for Ukraine as well, because with an eventual win Ukraine would be very close to qualifying for the European Championships.
On Saturday, Kosovo played against Slovenia in Mitrovica and lost 91:81.
It should be noted that Kosovo’s last game in Eurobasket 2017 Qualifiers will be against Bulgaria, in “Minatori” hall, in Mitrovica. The game will take place on Saturday, at 20:00h. In their first duel that took place a week ago in Botevgrad, Bulgaria won.
