Sigal Prishtina recorded another loss in the Balkan League (BIBL).
On Thursday night, Prishtina was defeated by Kozuv 92:65 (27:17, 17:23, 23:15, 25:10) in Group A of BIBL.
For the champions now the task to go thought to the next phase is really tough.First Sigal Prishtina needs to defeat Bashkimi by at least 12 points on Monday and then win against Kozuv in Gevgelija. In the same time the team has to hope that Bashkimi will lose to Teodo in the last week and Kozuv against Kumanovo the week before.
With this win the Macedonians increased their chances of reaching the Second Stage. Now they have two games at home - against Kumanovo and Sigal Prishtina, and if they win them there′s a very big chance they′ll be in.
Playing his last game for Kozuv Aleksandar Yanev was the top scorer with 21 points while also adding 4 assits. Milivoje Mijovic did very well with double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds and Bojan Krstevski brought some energy finishing with 18 and 7.
Drilon Hajrizi and Jabarie Hinds were the top scorers for the home side with 16 points each. Grant Johnson added 12.
