Today, the President of KBF, Erolld Belegu and board member Valton Bilalli met with the mayor of the municipality of Rahovec, Idriz Vehapi.
The reason for this meeting was to propose a Memorandum of Cooperation, which is in the interest of the basketball development for youth categories in the municipality of Rahovec.
Officials of the Directorate of Sports in Rahovec, and the coach of BC Rahoveci, Valentin Spaqi also attended the meeting.
According to the Memorandum of Cooperation proposed by the KBF, the municipality of Rahovec must ensure a sports gym and cover the expenses of the coaches that will work with the youth category (man and women). Meanwhile, KBF will supervise the work of the basketball school through the coordinator for youth categories, Chris Dial.
The Mayor of the municipality of Rahovec, Idriz Vehapi promised to do the utmost to ensure the conditions required by the Memorandum of Cooperation, despite great difficulties, considering the low level of sports infrastructure in this municipality. Vehapi also promised to analyze the proposal soon, in order to start its implementation as soon as possible.
On the other hand, the president of KBF, Erolld Belegu is very happy with the support of mayor Vehapi for this project, which means a lot to the Kosovo Basketball Federation, since the youth categories are our main priority.
