Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) and the Coaches Association organized an Expert Seminar for Basketball Coaches from 23 until 25 February, in Prishtina.
Slovenian coach and FIBA Instructor, Tone Krump lectured at the seminar. Krump also lectured last year at the Intensive Course for Coaches organized by KBF, Olympic Solidarity and Kosovo Olympic Committee. 30-35 coaches attended the seminar in Prishtina.
After the seminar, coach Tone Krump said that he was satisfied with all that has been done during these three days. On the first day the coach was focused on the theoretical part, where he used the opportunity to learn more about the basketball and its situation in Kosovo, for which he undoubtedly had many insights and information. Afterwards, in the next two days the seminar moved to the practical part, on the floor, where in this case all coaches have been included in the work demonstrated by Krump.
Tone Krump:
"I'm very pleased with the participation of the coaches in the seminar. I know it has been difficult since we have been working intensively for three days, and they received a lot of information, and it wasn’t easy for them. I have seen that coaches have received sufficient information and will be able to use them in the future. I am optimistic that our cooperation will continue in the future and I will have the opportunity to be close to these coaches so that their education to become qualitative coaches can happen in a near future. I take this opportunity to congratulate the President of KBF, Erolld Belegu and his associates for the great work that they are doing to develop this sport in Kosovo. "
