Starting from 2015/16 season, foreign players that sign with the Superleague teams and teams of Men’s First League of Kosovo, must also register with FIBA Europe and obtain a FIBA Europe “A” license.
Basketball players that will compete in FIBA Europe Club’s Competition will obtain a FIBA Europe “B” license, which will also serve as an “A” license in the National Championship.
FIBA Europe informed KBF with the new registration procedure for foreign players, including the Self-declaration form for the players who transfer from a college, schools and other academic institutions and are being registered for first time in a national federation.
KBF, before the beginning of the transfer window will inform the clubs about the registration fees and provide them with the appropriate forms for registration of foreign players.
KBF also appeals to clubs to comply with the rules for players transfer, including the fees and terms for the LoC and payments for the FIBA Europe license, so that all the transfers can go successfully and properly.
