Today, Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) and the Municipality of Peja, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to ensure the best possible conditions for the development of basketball of youth categories in Peja with the support of the Municipality and KBF.
The Municipality will provide two gyms where youth categories in both genders can exercise everyday, 5 hours a day.
The Municipality will recruit school coaches and compensate their time, who will work under the program of KBF.
Meanwhile, KBF will supervise the work of basketball schools through the coordinator for Youth Categories, Chris Dial.
Memorandum of Cooperation was signed today by the President of KBF, Erolld Belegu and the Mayor of the Municipality of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri.
The Memorandum is expected to serve in the future as a model for other municipalities as well.
FBK is very excited by the support of the Municipality of Peja for this project, which for KBF and the basketball of Kosovo means a lot, considering the fact that youth categories are KBF’s priority.
