New season of the Kosovo Superleague will begin this weekend, with the games between Vellaznimi – Peja, Golden Eagle Ylli – Bashkimi, Trepca – Kerasan Prishtina, whereas Sigal Prishtina won’t play this week since its opponent Kastrioti informed KBF on Thursday about their withdrawal from the league due to financial difficulties.
Last weekend, the Super Cup of Kosovo match, between Peja and Sigal Prishtina, which took place at the “Karagaci” hall in Peja, before 2500 spectators, showed us these two teams will be the main ones in the elite of Kosovo basketball, without excluding the other teams, which are maximally prepared to give us quality basketball this season.
Sigal Prishtina, Peja, Bashkimi, Trepca, Golden Eagle Ylli, Kerasan Prishtina and Vellaznimi will play 28 rounds during the regular season and afterwards will continue with the Play-offs.
