After more than a month KB Peja continued its SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League season with an easy win. The Yellows hosted KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 in group B game and had no trouble to take 90-64 (24:12, 26:21, 26:10, 14:21) victory. The home side took control early and their superiority was never in doubt as the lead kept growing. With that win Peja is now at 2-0 in the group and it two days will visit SK Tirana. Karpos on the other side is with 1-5 record and has a slim chance of going to the Second Stage. Next week the team will host KB Trepca.
LaMarcus Reed and Cameron Rundles (7 assists) were the top scorer for the winners with 20 points. Alban Veseli also did well and finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
For Karpos Sokoli, who was missing several key players, Goran Vrbanc ended up with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Dominik Mavra added 13 points and 6 assists as Dragan Zekovic had 11 points and 5 rebounds.
