From four teams from Kosovo that are competing in season 2016/17 of the Balkan League, Peja is the only one to start with a victory. KB Peja took the victory in the last game of the first week in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. At home The Yellows managed to beat the returning MKK Feni Industries 82-73. The hosts led for almost 40 minutes but the visitors were close throughout. However Peja was never really close to giving up the lead and finally won the match.
Mirza Ahmetbasic had a good game for the winners and finished with 21 points. LaMarcus Reed did well with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists while Alban Veseli added 18 points.
Matija Ceshkovic was the top scorer for Feni with 15 points. Kiril Nikolovski had double-double with 15 and 10 rebounds as Jane Petrovski added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
