On Wednesday night, Peja was defeated by Kumanovo in Group D of Sigal Uniqa Balkan League.
This is the third week of Sigal Uniqa Balkan league Second Stage. The Macedonian team defeated its opponent, 80-76, in Sports Hall Kumanovo and imprved to 4-1, while the Kosovan side dropped to 2-3.
The Yellows will have another chance to qualify to the next phase of the competition as they host KK Teodo on 1 March, while Kumanovo will play for its pride against KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 on 1 March, as well.
Danilo Mijatovic paced the winners with a double-double by 31 points and 11 rebounds. Dimitar Karadjovski and Radoslav Pekovic followed by 10 points, each.
Alban Veseli answered with 28 points in a losing effort, Mirza Ahmatbasic added 13, Noah Dahlman scored 12, while Cameron Rundles netted 10 points.
