KB Peja recorded a very important away win tonight. The team visited KK Sutjeska in a group B match and dominated late to take a big 86-67 victory. The visitors led from start to finish and at the end managed to build a big lead. With that result the team now has 4-2 record and is in a very good position for the Second Stage. Sutjeska stands at 5-3 and is first having already secured its position forward. Next week Peja will visit Feni Industries in the last game of 2016.
The main reason behind Peja′s win was the team′s three-point shooting. The visitors hit 12 triples from 24 attempts as Sutjeska had only 3 of 16.
The top scorer for the winners was Alban Veseli with 19 points while also dishing out 5 assists. Jamie Billie had a good game with 14 points and 9 rebounds as Cameron Rundles had 12 points.
Djoko Salic was above all for Sutjeska with 20 points. Nikola Lalic had 15 points as Marko Djurkovic added 8 and 7 rebounds.
