On Wednesday night, in “Karagaci” hall Peja has triumphed 83:79 in the first semifinal game of the Balkan League against Kumanovo. The Kosovan team will now take a 4-point advantage to Macedonia, where the Yellows and the Blues will meet again next week to decide the second team in the competition′s final.
From the beginning there was an equal game, where the teams changed lead but there were also moments like in the fourth quarter when Peja had a 13 points advantage but they couldn’t keep it so they had to accept the victory with a small advantage before their trip to Kumanovo.
Robert Abramovic scored 22 points for the winners, Slobodan Miljanic added 15 points and Alban Veseli followed with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Yonel Brown had a great game for the visitors with 33 points.
