Peja defeated Bashkimi 88:73 (19:16, 21:18, 27:17, 21:22) on Saturday, at the “Karagaci” hall, in round IX of the Kosovo Superleague.
The result was tight in the first two quarters of the game (40:34), however in the third quarter the hosts took control of the game and dictated until the end.
Drilon Hajrizi had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners while Alban Veseli added 18 points and 7 rebounds, Kevin Borwell added 14 points, Ronald Davis added 13 and Leonard Mekaj added 11points.
For the visitors the new signing Marcel Jones hit 20 points as Theron Bussey had 19.
