Peja was defeated by Craiova for the second time in a row in one week. After its loss in Peja to the Romanian team, in the game held in Romania, Peja’s chance to win was even smaller.
In the first minutes of the game, Craiova created a lead 12:2 and ended the first quarter 23:13. During the next 30 minutes of the game, Peja did not make any serious attempt to get back in the game and Craiova continued to lead by approximately 20 points.
The Romanian team won 97:75. Peja now holds the second place in Group C with a similar record to Craiova (3 wins and 2 losses) and has to defeat Mornar in Bar to see if there are any chances left for the first place in the group, which will take them directly to the semifinals.
Tonight, Sigal Prishtina will host Sutjeska. The previous game between the two teams was terminated due to the attack that was made towards Prishtina’s players and management by Sutjeskas’s fans and the game ended with a result 0:20.
With the eventual win, Sigal Prishtina will hold the second place in Group D, before the addition duels for a placement in the semifinals.
