The second final game of the ETC Women’s League Play-Offs between Prishtina and Trepca will take place on Sunday, in “Jeton Terstena-Tota” hall, in Vushtrri, at 18:00hrs.
In the first duel which took place in the capital city, Prishtina won 51:44 and now is leading 1:0 in the series and only needs one more win to become champion for the ninth time.
However, in two final quarters of the previous game, Trepca showed that it won’t give up easy and it will fight ‘til the end to even the result. If that happens, the third game will take place in Prishtina, where everything will be decided.
Fidan Shatri, head coach of Prishtina: “I believe that we have a good team and the lead from the first final game motivates us even more to win the second one and to conclude this season in the best possible way. We are going to Vushtrri to play the last 40 minutes of the season. I think that after the Cup it’s time for the third title in a row and the double crown of the season”.
Kemajl Muja, head coach of Trepca: “Prishtina is an experienced team, but we believe in victory. We are highly motivated and I believe that our girls’ commitment will be great. We are going in for the win. We believe that the finals will go in three games and the best team will win. But, you can never know with the finals.”
